BWAMI COFFEE

We have partnered with the best roasters in the market in Uganda and The United Kingdom. We roast our coffees at source, meaning that coffee consumed in Uganda and for export to East Africa including to Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Eastern DRC is freshly roasted in Kampala. Our coffee distributed in The UK is roasted in South East England and distributed to our clients in Britain and Europe. We have deliberately limited our coffee roasting profiles to suit our clients’ preferences . We have worked meticulously to develop coffees that are truly captivating. All of our Robusta coffee beans are grown at our very own Bwami Coffee farms in Uganda sustainably. Our Arabica coffee beans are grown from by a couple of coffee farmers in the Mt Elgon and Rwenzori Regions of Uganda.

THE ROASTING PROCESS

Our coffee beans are roasted both in Kampala and in South East England to perfection in small batches. This artisanal approach allows us to highlight the distinctive characteristics of each coffee variety. From the first crack to the delicate cooling process, our roasters use their expertise to unlock the full potential of the beans, resulting in rich, aromatic, and flavourful brews that are unique to our Bwami Coffee brand.
